Two for Two
Here's another meme, with a little Holiday cheer. While Christmas doesn't officially start until NEXT Friday (aka AFTER Thanksgiving), the week before is always spent getting READY for it to BE Christmas....
In that spirit I give you the Christmas Cheer meme:
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrap! With fancy ribbons and bows!
2. Real tree or Artificial?
Real! Pine not Fir or Cedar.
3. When do you put up the tree?
As soon as I can after Thanksgiving, so I can enjoy it longer!
4. When do you take the tree down?
After Epiphany (Armenians give gifts on Epiphany)
5. Do you like eggnog?
Hell no.
6. Favorite gift received as a child?
Barbies. Lots of Barbies. Probably Western Barbie and Ken and their horses!
7. Hardest person to buy for?
My Uncle Mike
8. Easiest person to buy for?
My husband and my mother!
9. Do you have a nativity scene?
Yes
10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Mail. Picture cards. With Christmas stamps.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Socks. Lots of Socks.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
Ralphie and White Christmas
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
The first time I see a great deal!
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Yes, but only because someone wanted it and I didn't.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Potato Latkes with Bacon, Chives, and Sour Cream (Gentile Style)
16. Lights on tree, colored or clear?
Colored! Only colored.
17. Favorite Christmas song?
Adeste Fideles. In latin.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
I go home.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen. And Rudolph.
20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
A star. With blinky, colored lights!
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
With the extended family Christmas Eve, and with the parents and hub on Christmas Morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
Christmas displays on November 1. WAY too early.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color?
I have hand-blown Winnie the Pooh Characters
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
Steak and Mashed potatoes
25. What do you want for Christmas this year?
My mortgage paid off!

Oh, thank God! I thought I was the only one in the world who hated that revolting concoction. What is WRONG with people?!
