An interesting proposition

T1G asks, if you were building a house for the Almighty, what would you include?

"Last night, I watched that house makeover show. I don't remember the name of it, but it's host is way too wired, or slightly insane. They go around destroying people's houses, and then remodelling, or rebuilding them. It was alright...

Anyway, during one of the commercial breaks, it looked as if they were going to rebuild a church, which got me thinking. How would they hide their project from Him... do they make some special bus? And, if Gott were to have a house built, what special appliances, or features, would he desire?"

What do you think?

What would you put in a house for the Lord? What would you leave out? What would God need in his own house?

Well, God has to choose to be surprised. Meaning, he has to give up a small amount of omnipotence, and trust in the builders to do it right.

Personally, I don't view God has paying too close attention to the minor details of life. I mean, the part about electrons moving in an improbable manner, planets orbiting stars correctly. That's why there is natural laws, physics formulas and such. It really makes an Almighty's job easier, to outsource the day to day running of the universe.

As for what He wants in there, my guess is His own special particle accelerator, a genetics lab (for testing out the next phases in the evolution of certain species), and maybe a good telescope. Cause looking at the night sky is fun.

- A library, because even the omniscient cant remember everything.
- A clock that ticks once every decade.
- a motivational poster showing a typical scene of earth life with the caption "Finish what you started."
- a second motivational poster showing the final moments of hiroshima with the caption "Or they will."
- A pet - Felis Perfectis. It looks like a cat, but lives entirely off light, produces no mess, and doesn't die.
- a pet ant colony. Which just happens to be round, mounted on a stand and looks suspiciously like a planet.

Lots of lovely flowers and trees and a huge swimming pool and everything is always cleaned up automatically.
