Survivor- Knife in the Back edition

Holy Sh*t!
Hella Drama tonight.

I don't think I have enough brainpower to weave THIS web.

Ian wins a corvette and takes Tom on the rewards trip. This pissed off Katie, who must think she's his girlfriend, so she goes back to camp and lets loose on Tom and Ian. The girls decide that they should ally against the guys because the guys suck.

Caryn, of course, runs out to tattle as soon as Ian and Tom come back...

Katie and Ian have a huge blow out over alliances and loyalties and friendship. They kind of make up, but Katie is still cool with Tom.

The immunity challenge sucks ass, but Tom beats Ian.

Tribal council, Jeff asks about the fight between Katie and Ian, and all of a sudden it's WWIII he-said-she-said between Tom and Caryn, accusing each other of lying, double dealing and backstabbing. Both accuse the other of lying about what was said, but as far as I could tell, they were both telling the truth. Everyone was double dealing everyone else. Katie in particular is upset at all of this....

Upshot, Caryn goes home. Ian got the other votes. Ian, Tom, and Katie voted for Caryn.

Glad she went home. Her annoying ass was really starting to grate on me.

Next week highlight: Tom says to Ian "The girls told me you're gonna vote me off, is that true?" Ian says "yes" Tom says (determinedly) "That's all I needed to know"

I think Ian the dumbass just screwed himself. He's not a smart player, is he? Just been riding Tom's coattails.....

I would like to see Tom win the whole thing. Ian didn't follow any of Tom's plans at all, including NOT taking him on the reward challange. Ian could have kept most of this coming to light if he had just taken Katie with and firmed up her position.

I thought Jenn also voted for Caryn. They showed the votes briefly at the end, but I thought I saw on Jenn's vote Caryn's name.

This Sunday should be interesting.

Yep. I just looked up and saw blonde, so I thought it was Katie, although she was already shown...

I just watched the video on the survivor page. You should see what Tom and Ian had to say about Caryn. They played her so hard....

Ian was a moron. You don't make a promise (the mutual promise they made about the reward winiing/taking the other) and then break it. And looked like Tom wanted to smakc him upside the head fro going against the plan. I think Ian was afraid of being with Katie in a possibly romantic setting and he paniced and made up the silly "if it was a car I said I'd take Tom" thing. He strikes me as a guy without a lot of experience with the opposite sex.

I think you're right. Especially as he was whining about girls to Tom just like a 15 year old boy.

Ian, although likable, isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. I wouldn't mind seeing him win anyway.
